Writing Wisdom from Stephen King and Ray Bradbury…

I’ve added three more–freely downloadable–classroom writing posters to my Sail the Seven C’s Teacher Expo . Check out the previewable items.

** Here is a short tour of the Expo and its current collection of resources. [More are being added every week.]

A couple of ways teachers might use the quotes…

  • Print out and project onto the whiteboard, but block out key words or a phrase, such as, in the example below, ‘follow him’. Let your students fill in the blank.

  • Pose the question, “Have you ever reached a point where the character did something you didn’t expect?”

  • Ask your students which of the three quotes makes the most sense to them.
